Sarah-Jane is
best known for presenting the Cbeebies pre-school show 'Tikkabilla' and
for her comedy antics in
'Higgledy House'. Other TV credits include 'Paz' for the Discovery Channel,
which was also featured in the Steven Spielberg film 'Terminal' in which
Sarah-Jane's character shared the screen with Tom Hanks - this show was
also recently nominated for an Emmy Award. Sarah-Jane began her adult career at the age of 18 working as a stage contortionist. By the time she was 19 she had landed herself a two year contract in the highly acclaimed show 'Cats, the Musical' in London's West End. |
She went on from
there to play various theatre roles including 'Kaa' in a nationwide tour
of' The Jungle
Book,
'Siobhan' in 'Take Away at the Hammersmith Lyric, 'Zazel', a contortionist,
in Hard Times at the Union Chapel Islington, 'Radish' in 'The Suitcase
Kid' at The Brix and even an acrobatic flying Nun in 'Falstaff' at The
Royal
Opera House, Covent Garden. Sarah-Jane later returned to the hit musical 'Cats' in the West End for another 18 months and had the privilege to play the part of 'Etcetera' in the very last performance of the show at the New London Theatre. One of Sarah-Jane's favourite roles is 'Peter Pan', a part she has played 4 times so far, sparring with 'Hooks' played by Steve Mcfadden, Shane Ritchie and Paul Nicholas. |

Sarah-Jane performed as a
tap dancer and singer on a CD recording of 42nd street which was recorded
at the famous Abbey Road Studios and is currently working on a new collection
